Andy Seferta, head of European Oracle practice, Fujitsu Services and winner of the UKOUG award for Public Sector Partner of the Year comments: “We pride ourselves in working with our customers through long-term relationships and are thrilled that these awards provide recognition of our customer successes as we continue to grow our Oracle business in Fujitsu.”

Sue Scates, vice president consulting, Oracle UK, Ireland and Israel comments, "We have worked hard to put the right skills and expertise in place to be a strategic partner to our customers, helping them build IT platforms that evolve with their business needs. As a result winning this award is very pleasing, because it is recognition from our most important constituents, our customers, and confirms we are on the right track to respond to their needs.”

Hugh Griffiths, director, Griffiths Waite, comments, “Griffiths Waite has been very successful over the past year in deploying SOA & BPM solutions using Oracle technology. SOA is a major part of organisations strategic IT plan and it is important to mentor customers through SOA adoption with great and visible success. We always promote a collaborative and collegial culture that puts our clients first, so it is really satisfying to receive this award which is voted for by customers,”

Simon Barnes, account director, ReportSource, comments, “We are delighted with our UKOUG Hyperion Partner of the Year award.  This accolade is very important to us, as it has been voted for by clients. We believe it is a reflection of our complete dedication to serving all our customers’ needs.”

Jon Mead, director, Rittman Mead comments, “We are delighted to have won the UKOUG Business Intelligence partner of the year award. We feel it reflects the quality of the service and commitment we have offered over the last year and is a great reward for the hard work put in by all the team.”

Dave Phizacklea, managing director, JoraPh Consulting, comments, “This was a great event and the UK Oracle User Group should be congratulated on its success. For JoraPh to be presented with the award is a major highlight in our history. A title voted for by our customers and partners is an honour and a reflection of the service we, as a small quality-driven company, strive to provide. It also shows we are delivering our customers with services they appreciate and I offer my thanks to them and look forward to continued success alongside our partners.”

Dean Allen, head of oracle practice Business & Decision, comments, “Business & Decision is very proud to have won 3 awards at the inaugural UKOUG Awards 2008.  We are honoured that our customers and Oracle have voted for us, acknowledging our efforts within training, consulting and Siebel delivery.  We also see this as an endorsement of Oracle because, properly implemented, it can give organisations a real edge.”

David Watson, director, Concentric Solutions, comments,  “we are delighted to have won Application Partner of the Year and to have picked up a runners up award for Consulting Partner of the Year. This is a real endorsement of our services in the Hyperion space, and a true motivator for our staff. It is nice to be recognised independently by our customers and it proves that if you focus on what is important, that you do not have to be the largest partner organisation for clients to value your service. We will be back again next year for more!”

Andy Bird, managing director, inOApps.com, comments, “Consultancy is very much a people business, to be presented with these awards highlights the dedication and calibre of our team. Personally I am delighted our customers have voted inOApps as No1 in the UK for Project Management and Product Delivery as well as voting us third for Small Business and Training Partner. Thank you to all our staff, and all who voted for us.”

Stuart Rimmer, managing director, Beoley Mill Software, comments, “This year’s UKOUG Oracle Partner Awards Ceremony, at Claridges in London, marked another landmark in the history of Beoley Mill Software. Customers from all over the UK voted for their preferred partner in some nineteen categories covering all Oracle products. Following an overwhelming response from voting customers BMS were awarded an unparalleled five awards including first place awards for both ‘JD Edwards Partner’ and ‘Managed Services/Support Excellence’. BMS were also voted second place for ‘Consulting Partner’ and Customer Service Partner’ and third place for ‘Application Partner’. BMS would like to thank all our customers for voting for us in recognition of the tremendous work done by each and every member of our team – it is a great accolade indeed.”
