LBi (
www.lbi.com) has recently made some leading hires including Laura Jordan-Bambach from Glue and Publicis Modem’s Tom Poynter.
Laura has taken on the role of Group Creative Director and will be running the
creative department at LBi. After spending the last four years as Head of Art at Glue London, Laura has been bought in to help inspire the agency and the department as well as to solidify LBi’s reputation for strong creative thinking and its creative output. Talking about her new role in the business Laura said, “LBi is a passionate and incredibly talented global network. There’s a great culture and attention to life/work balance here and they’re all thoroughly nice people to work with”. In the context of LBi’s capabilities, Laura added, “Standards here are as high as I have ever encountered. There is enormous belief in the quality and integrity of the work, and I have great faith that there’s nothing we couldn’t deliver on for our clients.”
Tom, the former joint Managing Director of Publicis Modem, joined LBi as Client Partner in November 2008, leading the Electrolux, Waterstone’s and HMV accounts amongst others. During his time at Publicis Modem, Tom led the LG Electronics and Hewlett Packard business in Europe, Middle East and Africa, designing and deploying digital and integrated campaigns across 45+ countries. Tom now manages a team of 120+ people and delivers marketing and business strategy for over 20 clients at LBi. When asked why he chose LBi Tom commented "LBi are the leading agency in the UK with huge ambition for growth and redefining digital marketing. I wanted to be part of that."
The hires follow the arrival of Chris Clarke last September who moved from Digitas London to take on the challenge of Global Chief Creative Officer at LBi.
