24 March 2009 – VEGA Consulting Services Ltd (VEGA), a Finmeccanica company, has successfully re-qualified for the IS Security Support and the IS Communication Support and Services framework agreements of the UK Ministry of Defence Information Communications Services (MOD ICS) Catalogue.

The MOD ICS catalogue allows the MOD and Other Government Departments (OGD), agencies and demanders to benefit from an uncomplicated and easy contracting route, with rates that ensure value for money.

VEGA’s re-qualification for these framework agreements complements the capability already delivered under the company’s ongoing qualification to provide IS Total Solutions Consultancy and Support Services. Accreditation under all three agreements enables VEGA to continue to support the UK MOD and OGDs with a wide-range of independent and high quality information and communications services.

The new IS Security Support and IS Communication Support and Services framework agreements take effect from 1 April 2009 and will run for two years.
