14 April 2009 – VEGA Consulting Services Ltd (VEGA), a Finmeccanica company, is to hold a specialist seminar at this year’s GC Live event entitled
“Securing Transformation across Government”.
GC Live is a conference and exhibition for UK public sector ICT. Running over two days (9-10 June) and split into two streams (‘The Public Sector Talks’ and ‘The Government Computing Talks’), the conference offers delegates the opportunity to hear speakers from across government and industry debate the key issues facing the public sector. The event is supplemented by a series of specialist seminars where leading industry suppliers provide delegates with advice and guidance on the issues relevant to their day-to-day roles.
VEGA’s seminar will be delivered by VEGA Manager Consultant, Peter Curran. At the seminar, we will consider the organisational impacts of gaining compliance with Code of Connections for a range of cross-Government secure networks as all areas of Government begin to fulfil their role as component parts of the UK’s
Transformational Government agenda and National Security Strategy.
VEGA’s seminar will ask delegates to consider just how well they understand the implications of their information assurance commitments, and how these are likely to inform future budget and strategy, reshape organisational process and procedures, and redefine their culture and working practices.
The seminar takes place at 15.30 on Tuesday 9 June.
GC Live takes place at Earls Court in London from 9-10 June 2009 and is free to attend. Visit the
GC Live website to register to attend the VEGA seminar and the rest of the conference.
