-Second eCIS+ Implementation for Vertex-

VERTEX today announced the signing of an agreement with AltaGas Utilities, Inc. (AUI) to upgrade AUI’s existing E-CIS customer billing software to eCIS+, the solution’s newest release.  An E-CIS customer since 1998, AUI has also contracted for Vertex’s “Deregulation Transaction Gateway” (DTG) module to enable Tariff Billing of AUI customers in Alberta. These solutions will support AUI and two associated gas utilities that rely on AUI for customer billing services.

AltaGas Utilities, Inc. is a subsidiary of AltaGas Utility Group, Inc. of Calgary, Alberta and serves more than 66,000 customers through a network of nearly 20,000 kilometers of natural gas pipeline.
