Over the past few weeks, there have been a number of reports in the media about the way young people deploy their beloved mobile phones during school hours. From filming a brawl, to a sexual encounter between two students, drug use, intimidation of teachers and bullying other pupils with threatening text messages, once again, the moral panic button has been firmly pressed. Only this time, along with young people, technology is being called to account for the apparent uptake in violent and inappropriate behaviours within school grounds.
