Windows Server 2008 (Longhorn) slips again

Microsoft has pushed back the release to manufacturing date for Windows Server 2008, formerly code-named Longhorn, into 2008.Windows Server 2008, which we have been saying would Release to Manufacturing (RTM) by the end of the calendar year, is now slated to R in the first quarter of calendar year 2008," the company said on a corporate blog yesterday.But the company said that it is sticking to February 27 2008 as the official "launch" date for Longhorn, Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008.
