What is energy? E=MC squared. (Energy = Mass x Velocity). Energy equals something that moves something else. When we say we are 'moved' by a story or music or a picture, some feeling in us is stirred into motion. i.e. e-motion.
When something moves, it causes a stir. It has an effect on everything else. The movement causes a vibration, a pulse. When everything is still, there is no movement, no sound, no vibration, nothing to see. When there is movement you see, hear or feel something. It attracts your attention. You become aware of it, or conscious of it. It makes you think and possibly react to it by moving yourself. You have a sense of its existence and you can detect it using your 5 physical senses. See it; hear it; feel it; smell it or taste it. Sometimes you just 'sense' it. This 6th sense is not physical, it is a knowing without proof because you have noticed that you have reacted to something. You have intuited it, i.e. you know it inside, not outside.
When there is no energy there is no life, nothing.
"In the beginning, god moved across the face of the earth." MOTION
"In the beginning was the 'word' and the 'word' was god." SOUND
"Then god said 'let there be light'." LIGHT
"And god saw that it was good and was pleased." EMOTION, ENERGY IN MOTION.
From a pulse, there was a wave - a pulse that deviated from a direct line by alternated up and down, more or less, + or -, and as it curved away from a resistance, sometimes it spiralled out from itself, or spiralled in on itself. When it went slowly, the pulse was infrequent and when it speeded up it went frequently. So the vibration was an alternating wave between two poles, of high or low frequency, which, when it spiralled, increased or decreased its power. When it was free it could do anything, go anywhere but when it touched the earth it was trapped, held in the earth and lost its power inside the earth. This same power could be take up from the earth and used again. For power, think energy. For energy, think spirit. Now we are getting somewhere.
There are different ways of looking at this polarity, within which the energy pulsates, or vibrates or circulates, or spirals up and down. In electro-mechanics it is called positive and negative. In spiritual terms it is the dark and light or yin and yang and in biology it is male and female. There are other ways of seeing polarity, or opposites: left and right, black and white, north and south etc.
Our planet Earth is a living organism, very complex, which vibrates between two poles and has a measurable magnetic field, or aura, emanating from it. It has a core of iron magma. The human being is a similar, very complex organism, which has a magnetic field pulsating between two poles and has a circulating iron in a fluid: haemoglobin.
Planet Earth is a life system that can be described as being dependent on four basic elements: minerals, or earth, water, air and sunlight, or fire. All living things on the planet are alive because these four elements exist in a balanced formula.
Planet Earth and all living things, including human beings, exist under the same conditions, and are in the same relationship with the solar system, galaxy, universe and cosmos.
Let's get back to the Earth's magnetic field. It is a field that separates us from space, keeping certain things out and certain things in by gravity. It contains our atmosphere.
Now think of exactly the same physical laws but in terms of the human being. We have a magnetic energy field that separates our inner self from everything 'out there'. But we can sense things by how we react to what's going on 'out there'. It is the vibrations in the aura that affects us inside, triggering our response, intuition or psychic sense. It is our aura, or force field, that separates our physical body and the 'atmosphere' around us from everything outside. It is a medium through which we emanate or receive signals. It is an energy that is pulsating out and in, like breathing.
I spent years walking with my dog and my pendulum around the land: old tracks, hills, streams, woods and 'sacred' sites. The formations that I found, were everywhere, and then I discovered that exactly the same formations were in and around people. I discovered this before I understood auras and chakras. At certain places I found intense spirals of energy. Some were actually double spirals, one going clockwise and one going anti-clockwise. I found a word that seemed to describe what I was seeing and feeling. It was 'vortex'. I then found that the chakras were described as vortices of energy. Chakra is a sanskrit word that means wheel of fire.
So here we are, mini planets, with our own personal force-field; a pulsating, vibrating energy that moves between two poles, protects us, sends us messages, senses what's around us and spirals in and out of powerful vortices within the body. Sometimes this energy comes up from the earth and moves anti-clockwise and sometimes it comes down from the sky and moves clockwise.
So, what comes up and what goes down? Energy that lowers its vibration becomes more and more dense until it gets physical. And vice versa. When energy raises its vibration it gets faster and lighter and moves out of its physical state until it is pure energy again. Our bodies are not separate from the aura: they are part of a whole system, some of which you can see, some you can't see.
The only thing that makes us different to other living beings is that our consciousness is processed in a way that goes beyond instinctive behaviour. We can make decisions by conscious, or knowing choice. We can store information that is not directly involved with our survival and we can memorise. We have a language, understand abstracts, like mathematics, and communicate and ask questions. In other words we have an intellect that can learn, think for itself, and create new things out of raw materials. We not only use tools but create tools. We have an internal processor that works differently to other living beings that have a brain. We have thoughts and an imagination. We can be inspired and enlightened.
One more thing...
We are self-conscious. The more self-conscious we become, the more enlightened we can become and the faster and higher and lighter our energy becomes, until we become pure energy again.
